In the bottom of a mug, place the cardamom, orange zest, and maple syrup.
Pull or pour the shot of espresso directly over top and whisk to combine. I use a moka pot to make my espresso, but you could also use a regular espresso machine or a freshly brewed cup of strong coffee—just make sure its very hot.
Pour the steamed or frothed milk into the espresso, as much as you like, and garnish with more cardamom and orange zest. Stir and enjoy!
