Fuji Apples in Campfire Apple Crisp

  • FILLING:
  • 6 Fuji apples, cored
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Pack apples half full with filling and then half with topping.
  2. Wrap apples in tin foil and bake on a camp fire for 30 minutes, or for one hour (unwrapped) in an oven at 375˚F.
  3. Enjoy in the chill of autumn air around a nice fire.
